The experience gives visitorsthe uncanny sensation of being underneath the microscope, where science becomessomething you can see, sense, and almost touch.A four‑projectormapping system and bespoke tracking setup flood the Yeast Room with texture andtactility. Underfoot and overhead, budding yeast cells come to life as digitalliquid nitrogen swirls among them, inviting the curious to step closer,explore, and play. Sensors tracking the movement in the room allow visitors togently shape the dance of the cells as they wander through. Look up, andmirrored ceilings give an otherworldly view, and the perfect selfieopportunity.
