Production Support Technician

the role

We are looking to expand the capacity of our Technical Production department to support our clients, maintain completed projects to the highest standards and support internal project teams. This is a new role being created with hands-on training, office, warehouse and on-site works. The support technician will eventually be able to work independently on our helpdesk and at client sites, with the skills to carry out field servicing, troubleshooting and end-user training.

the PROFILE

Reporting to and working closely with the Support Manager, the Production Support Technician will be required to assist in managing an active support system for clients. Daily tasks will include:

Monitoring our support platform with the Support Manager

Raise, resolve and report support tickets independently

Remotely assessing and diagnosing reported issues, resolving where possible or escalating to 3rd line if required

Attending client sites for regular scheduled maintenance of control, AV, lighting, sound and network equipment

Attending client sites to carry our unscheduled repairs or recalibrations

Support Technical Production and Technology teams in the setting up of proof of concept rigs, R&D and testing in the office.

Where required, join our Technical Production team on site to assist with projects

Maintain standards across all our projects by implementing our installation standards and quality management processes

Assist on delivery, testing and logistics of our shows and events

Travel to client sites Worldwide as required

Undergo training as required in technology, installation, health and safety and sustainability

Be responsible for the cataloguing, goods in/out and upkeep of our technical area in the office

Receive procured goods for installation projects, ensuring they are logged with the responsible person and stored safely prior to installation/commissioning

Be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of ‘The Lighthouse’ AV systems and general repairs/maintenance.

Promote and engage with sustainable working practices in line with the Pixel Artworks Sustainability Manifesto/goals

Construction / AV installation industryexperience

Electrical installation qualifications orexperiece

Customer service experience

Field servicing, repair and maintenanceexperience

Projection mapping & media servers

Professional audio or lighting experience
