Barbour Icons In Quilting pop-up
The magic
In celebration of 30 years of the iconic Liddesdale jacket, we transformed a Quilted Cube into an interactive pop-up in Covent Garden that whisked Londoner’s away to the British Countryside.
The LED walls of the interior told the story of Barbour’s long-standing dedication to craftmanship, quality and community engagement. Built-in sensors allowed visitors to trigger a reveal of the landscape synonymous with the Barbour way of life, allowing them to explore without muddying their boots. The exhibition also featured restored and reimagined Liddesdale jackets, with contributions from Paul Smith, Baracuta, David Gandy and a playful feature from Shaun the Sheep.
The Barbour coffees served from a quilted British Land Rover was the perfect final addition to make Autumn in London a whole lot cosier!
The measurement
The social legacy of the pop-up was instantly clear, with over 19.3K likes on Barbour’s social channels and over 43.9K views on Covent Gardens related content. The experience was featured in various publications for retail lovers including Shop Drop Daily. The best is still to come, with details of footfall traffic and revenue uplifts to follow!
